Not only is St. Paul's an approved school by the state of Nebraska, we have also submitted ourselves to additional scrutiny by the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NLSA) process. This is a rigorous voluntary evaluation and improvement process based on national standards. We are pleased to have been awarded this additional accreditation by the NLSA Commision since 2004.
NLSA evaluates not only our curriculum and programs, but also our administration and, most importantly, the religious dimensions of our school. St. Paul’s is one of a select group of 21 Nebraska schools supported by the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod to be accredited, and received its most recent NLSA re-accreditation in April 2017.
These are some of the outstanding strengths noted by the visiting accreditation team from its on-site report:
1. The Word is alive and God is working in and through the students, faculty, staff, pastor, parents and congregation.
2. Teachers, administrator and support staff all demonstrate a genuine love for God and their students. These people are committed to God’s Word and to their professions; they are caring, generous and dedicated Christian people.
3. There is a strong spirit and dedication to the overall improvement of the school.
4. School climate is positive, with a strong presence of faith and ministry throughout the students and staff.
